Background
Malluch is a former prisoner who lives with Esther and helps Simonides. He had his tongue removed while he was in prison.
During the events of Ben-Hur (1959)
Malluch helps Esther deliver food to Miriam and Tirzah in the Valley of the Lepers. When Judah Ben-Hur goes to speak with Miriam, Malluch blocks his path. Malluch goes with Esther to listen to Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.
