On Sunday after church, Money Mike tells Shane that she has to be on her best behavior since she is meeting his relatives for the first time. Shane tells Money Mike that she has to pee and he tries to call Robert Jr. to tell him he is going to be late, but his battery dies. While driving, Money Mike runs out of gas and blames it on Shane for being late. Six months later, Shane has been promoted at Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N Waffles and Shane says he is going to open up a mechanic shop.
During the events of Johnson Family Christmas Dinner (2008) played by Dylan Mooney
Money Mike and Shane get into his car and she asks him if he has everything as last time they tried to go to the family dinner, the car ran out of gas. They start arguing in the car about Money Mike not having Christmas presents for his nieces and nephews and he tells her that they should get him presents. They stop at the store so he can buy some Alize. They then go to the 99 cent store and he buys Chrissy a barrette for Christmas. When they try to drive away, the car won't start and Money Mike and Shane argue about whose fault it is and she threatens to walk home.
