Background
Martha is a housekeeper for the Seven Doors Hotel in Mandeville, Louisiana. Her son is Arthur.
During the events of The Beyond (1981) played by Veronica Lazar
Martha walks up to Liza Merrill and Joe the Plumber in the basement and tells them she made a pathway of wood over the water for Joe. Later, Martha looks for Joe and finds him missing both eyes and drooling a yellow substance. After Liza opens the room, Martha goes into room 36 and finds a pool of black liquid in the bath tub. She unclogs the drain and as the black liquid drains away it reveals the body of Joe. Joe's body comes to life and grabs Martha and shoves her head against a nail in the wall, killing her.
