After Larry's accident, Liza Merrill asks Arthur where the doctor is and he tells her the doctor is on his way. Later, Liza finds Arthur in her room and he tells her he was looking for keys. She tells him to unclog the chimney and he asks if it was Joe the Plumber he heard drive up. After Joe is killed, Arthur goes into the basement to repair the wall, but is then killed himself.
