Jacques is forced to fight another slave by [[Cesare Dupree]].  Jacques loses and is then sold to an auction house.  He is bought by [[Aunt Nancy]].  He laughs at how proper [[Caleb Wycliffe]] is and tells him the story of his former owner.  After Caleb beats Dupree in a duel, Jacques tells him he has a visitor in his room.  Caleb is later attacked by [[John Henri]] and Thomas, but Jacques helps Caleb fight them off.  He helps Caleb and [[Coral Labusse]] during their escape attempt, but is shot and killed by Thomas when he charges Dupree after Dupree shoots and kills Caleb.

Background

During the events of Quadroon (1971) played by Bill McGhee

Jacques is forced to fight another slave by Cesare Dupree. Jacques loses and is then sold to an auction house. He is bought by Aunt Nancy.
