Lotte's Mother is a cook for a church in Germany. She is married to Hermann, the Sacristan and her daughter is Lotte.

At dinner, Lotte's Mother serves food to The Bishop, Reverend Dominic and Father Gus. Lotte is slapped by Hermann who accusers her of being out, and notices she has been drinking and smoking and Lotte's Mother tells him to come to bed. She is later killed when the church collapses.
