As the [[Cantor]] chants in the temple, Levi and Timon plan how to murder Herod during [[Mark Antony]]'s upcoming wedding. At the last minute Timon refuses to kill Herod. He then struggles with Levi who is holding a knife and Levi is accidentally stabbed. Levi then tells Timon he is not his brother before dying in Timon's arms. |

Background
Levi is a Jewish merchant living in Judea. His brother is Timon. He is the brother in law of Deborah and the uncle of Mary, Bec and Yesh.
During the events of Rome: Season 2 Episode 2 Son of Hades played by Nigel Lindsay
Timon is surprised to find his brother Levi, who has traveled from Judea to Rome in his house. Levi tells him that he is setting up a business in Rome and he will be staying for sometime. Levi admits to Timon that he fled Jerusalem to avoid the authorities there.

Timon comes home and finds Levi teaching Yesh, Bec and Mary, Hebrew. Timon catches Levi talking to a man and Levi lies and tells him the man is a saffron trader.
