When Steve Foster tells the Chunnel Attendant he has a reservation for the train, the chunnel attendant dismissively tells him he doesn't care about his reservation.  He also tells Steve his reservation doesn't matter as there are people that have been waiting since 9 am and the last train is about to roll out due to the weather.  It is implied the Chunnel Attendant would have died due to the extreme weather.
