Background

Hansel is a witch hunter along with his sister Gretel. He was born in Augsburg, Germany to Adrianna and Father. He has Type 1 Diabetes and injects himself. Hansel and Gretel have killed over 600 witches.

Father wakes up Hansel and Gretel and after bringing them into the forest, he leaves them. Hansel and Gretel then wander around the forest until they come to the home of Candy Witch who captures them. Candy Witch is about to cook and eat Hansel when Gretel helps him and they stuff Candy Witch into the oven. Many years later, Hansel and Gretel are hired by Mayor Engleman to find the missing children of Augsburg. After saving Mina, who was about to be killed by Sheriff Berringer, they head into the forest and kill Tall Witch, but don't find the children. That night Mayor Engleman introduces them to Jackson and at a bar they meet Ben. In the market, Hansel sees Mina again and awkwardly walks away after she tells him he is handsome. Hansel, Gretel and Jackson capture Horned Witch by setting a trap and bring her to Sheriff Berringer's jail. They find out from Horned Witch that the Witches intend on performing a ceremony during the blood moon and Gretel figures out that the Witches still need one child born in April. Hansel goes to find the last remaining child, but is attacked by Red Haired Witch. As Red Haired Witch is escaping, Hansel grabs onto her broom, but she knocks him off of it. He is woken up by Mina who takes him to a pool and heals him. As Hansel is searching for Gretel, he finds their childhood home with Gretel also inside. Muriel surprises them both, tells them the story of their parents, stabs Hansel and then takes Gretel away. Hansel wakes up to Mina healing his wound and he realizes she is a witch. They use the Abramelin Grimoire Mina found to help make Hansel's weapons work better against witches and then Hansel, Mina and Ben go to the Witches camp to save Gretel and the children. Hansel walks into the Witches camp and then kills Red Haired Witch. A large battle erupts and Hansel and Mina kill most of the Witches, however Muriel escapes. Hansel, Mina and Ben go after Muriel and Mina and Muriel get into a witch fight. Mina is stabbed in the chest and Hansel holds her until she dies. He and Gretel then fight Muriel and use the end of a shovel to cut Muriel's head off. Hansel, Gretel, Ben and Edward then travel the world hunting witches.
