Detailed Synopsis

Abigail Ashe has a dream of when when the ship she was on was attacked by Ned Low and his pirates. During it, she is comforted by Woman as Mr. Holmes and Ned search the area. They are found and Woman is dragged away. Abigail wakes up and is comforted by Miranda Barlow. Abigail then writes in her diary of her journey home. She writes that the pirates have treated her civilly and courteously. She then writes that she wonders if their civility is theater put on for her. Captain Flint goes into his cabin and notices Abigail stops writing and tells Miranda that Abigail was writing about him. Miranda tells him that seeing Abigail and how grown up she is has brought her to reality in how many years it has been since they fled England and how much she has changed. Featherstone storms into the brothel and walks right past Idelle. He goes to Max's office and asks her and Rackham how he is supposed to gather that much gold and bring it back without anyone else knowing. He asks where they are going to put the gold once they get it. Max then tells Featherstone to continue what he is doing and the plan will work. Max notices Rackham is upset and he admits that he never really knew Anne Bonny. Esther notices Featherstone and Idelle arguing. She walks to The Butcher and tells him she needs to see Mrs. Mapleton.

Mapleton walks over to Esther and Esther tells her about Featherstone repeatedly meeting with Max and Rackham. Eleanor Guthrie is in a meeting with Frasier when Eleanor asks him if he has heard of any news from the fort. He tells them that they are either planning a reprisal or choosing a new captain. Eme tells Eleanor that Mapleton is there to see her. Mapleton then tells Eleanor that Max may be up to something. John Silver tells the crew a story of when he was on a merchant vessel and when he first saw Charles Town. He continues about how he and the rest of the crew saw the execution of Solomon Little. Mr. Scott tells Billy Bones about how quickly Flint was able to gain influence through the power of a story, but Silver might be competition as a story teller. Billy then tells Scott that Silver stole the story from Bernard. Silver ends his story by telling the pirates that the entire population of Charles Town is eager to see them dead. At the end of his speech, Silver notices Nicholas laughing. Silver has a meeting with Nicholas and Vincent and angrily reminds Nicholas that if anyone detects their story about the gold was a lie, they will be dead men. Nicholas walks away and Silver tells Vincent that Nicholas may become a problem for them.

Mapleton shows Eleanor the box that Charlotte stored her savings, proving that Charlotte never left with Logan. Mapleton then tells her about Rackham unloading his ship and she thinks Max knows the Urca gold is still there. As Billy is telling Flint about De Groot's plan on getting to Charles Town early, Billy and the others notice Abigail staring at Billy. Flint then tells Abigail about how Billy was kidnapped by a press gang. De Groot sends Tyson, Howard and Nicholas to unfurl the sails. Flint admits to Miranda that some of his deeds as Flint are indefensible. Vincent tells Silver that he sabotaged the ropes so Nicholas would fall to his death. Silver runs to the deck and then sees Nicholas fall to his death. Featherstone, Rackham and Max come up with a plan to store the gold and Rackham comes up with the idea to store the gold in the fort. Frasier tells Eleanor that they must act, but Eleanor refuses to have Max and the others murdered. Nicholas' body is wrapped and thrown overboard. Abigail writes in her journal that the pirates are not monsters, but are men. She tells Flint and Miranda that Peter Ashe sent her a letter relaying to her the time Flint murdered Alfred Hamilton and Young Mistress as their ship was sailing to Charles Town. He said that law would return to the Americas when Flint swung from a rope.

Miranda tells Flint that she is going with him and a Boat Captain calls out for Captain Charles Vane. The Boat Captain tells Flint that they received his letter and demands and will pay the ransom. Flint tells the Boat Captain that he is not Vane, and has no demands, but requests a meeting with Peter. Flint, Miranda and Abigail get into the Boat Captain's boat and are taken to the Charles Town dock. William Rhett confirms who Flint is and as he is taking Flint, Miranda and Abigail through the town, Rhett tells them how Peter changed things when he committed to fighting the pirates. Rhett has his men beat Flint until Abigail orders them to stop. Rhett then takes Flint, Miranda and Abigail to Peter. Peter hugs Abigail and then welcomes Flint and Miranda to Charles Town. At the fort, Featherstone admits to Rackham that he is in love with Idelle. Rackham has the doors to the fort broken down and he and his men enter the fort and find it empty, except for a crucified body. Eme gets Eleanor, who goes to the fort and Richard Guthrie's body is pulled down. Frasier gives her a note found on Richard's body in which Vane promises to enact revenge on Eleanor after taking the Man-o'-War from Flint.
