At FIRM headquarters, [[Hardesty]] tells Newman that Airwolf has ignored the abort message and is continuing on the mission.  Newman asks [[Davis]] if he contacted Airwolf's hideout and Davis tells him about the supposed communication problem.  Hardesty accuses the Airwolf program of having security issues, but Newman says the security problems are not coming from the FIRM.  Locke goes to FIRM headquarters and breaks into Newman's office.  He is then caught by Hardesty and Newman.  Hardesty and Newman tell Locke that his access has been restricted and the entire Airwolf operation is to be reevaluated.  Later, Davis tells Newman and Hardesty that Locke broke into the computer network.  Two jets are sent after Airwolf and fire missiles at it.  Newman runs into the office and tells Hardesty to call off the jets.  Locke goes into the room and gives Newman the information on the traitors.  Davis puts it in the computer and Newman orders Hardesty arrested by two FIRM security personnel.  Hardesty takes the gun from one of the security personnel and Davis tells the others that Airwolf has been destroyed.  Hardesty shoots one of the security personnel and Locke shoots him dead.
