Background
Nobby Nobbs is a corporal for the City Watch in Ankh-Morpork, on Discworld.
During the events of Terry Pratchett's Hogfather (2006) played by Nicholas Tennant
Corporal Nobbs and Constable Visit go to Crumley's and Vernon Crumley demands they arrest Death who is dressed as the Hogfather. Nobbs waits in line and tells Death he was a good individual. He then shows Visit his Burleigh & Stronghearm double-action triple-cantilever crossbow with a polished-walnut stock and silver engraved facings he got from Death and Visit disapproves. Later, Death hands a match girl over to Nobbs and Visit and tells them he will be checking up on her periodically.
