Great A'Tuin

Background

The Great A'Tuin is a giant turtle with four large elephants on its back which in turn hold the Discworld on their backs.

During the events of Terry Pratchett's Hogfather (2006)

The narrator explains how the Great A'Tuin carries on its back four elephants who in turn carry the Discworld on their backs.

During the events of Terry Pratchett's Going Postal (2010)

As events unfold between Moist Von Lipwig and Reacher Gilt, the Great A'Tuin slowly floats in space.
