In Louisiana in 1927, in room 36, Schweick is painting a landscape of hell.  A mob breaks into Schweick's room and [[Mob Leader]] accuses Schweick of being a warlock.  The Mob Leader hits Schweick with a chain and as he is being beaten, Schweick says that the hotel and town shall be condemned forever for their actions.  The mob continues to beat Schweick and end up crucifying him to the wall of the hotel basement and throw hot plaster on him, melting his face to the bone.

Mark, Susan, [[Jim Ghosthouse|Jim]], and [[Tina]] are on vacation in an RV when they stop at an abandoned house.  They eventually meet [[Paul]] and [[Martha]] who are investigating the origin of a call for help he heard on his ham radio.  Paul and Jim decide to listen to the same signal overnight and Mark goes with Jim inside the house to listen for the signal.  Mark and Jim hear a laughing noise and Jim goes downstairs to investigate it.  Mark hears Tina scream and as he is running downstairs he is confronted by a Doberman Pinscher.  When Mark throws a candle stick at it the candle stick goes through the dog.  He then jumps out a window and helps Tina fight off [[Valkos]], who then runs off.  Mark follows Valkos into a shed where he is stabbed with a pitchfork by Valkos.  Mark then goes with Susan and Paul to the hospital and to tell the police what happened.  The next morning after the police leave, Paul and Martha leave after suggesting Mark and the others do the same.  Later Susan argues with Tina when Tina says she saw someone enter the house and Mark goes inside the house and finds no one there.  He then leaves to go into town to get a part for the RV.  When Mark returns he hears Martha telling him that he and the others must leave the house.  He goes inside of the house and sees [[Henriett]] and [[Henriett's Doll]] and then sees Tina dead, before the floor breaks and he falls into a vat of white liquid.  He crawls out of the liquid, but is then stabbed repeatedly in the back with shears by Susan and dies.
