Background
The Witch is a practitioner of black magic who has signed Satan's book and resides in New England.
During the events of The Witch (2015) played by Bathsheba Garnett and Sarah Stephens
Thomasin goes looking for Samuel, but he is taken by The Witch, who murders him, mashes his remains up and spreads his blood on her body and broom. As he is searching for Fowler, Caleb finds a small cabin and The Witch, appearing as a young woman, steps out. The Witch walks up to Caleb and hugs and kisses him and she changes back to her old self. Later, The Witch breaks into the goat barn and Mercy and Jonas find The Witch suckling from Flora. The Witch laughs at them while they scream and then take Mercy and Jonas after killing Flora.
