As [[John Dearheart]] is trying to figure out what is wrong with his Clacks tower, Gryle unties the rope holding John and he falls to his death.  Gryle arrives at [[Reacher Gilt]]'s office and Reacher introduces him to [[Horsefry]].  Gryle reports what he has learned about Moist and Reacher orders Gryle to kill Moist.  Gryle goes to the post office and starts chasing [[Stanley (Gone Postal)|Stanley]].  Moist goes to save Stanley and he is attacked by Gryle, who admits to killing all the previous postmasters.  Moist fights back, but misses both of Gryle's hearts and Gryle tells him he was hired by Reacher and also was the killer of John.  The mail starts to circle around Gryle and kills him.

Gryle

Background

Gryle is a banshee assassin working for Reacher Gilt in Ankh-Morpork, on Discworld. He ate his grandmother. Gryle has two hearts.
