Background
Roger De Bris is a theatrical director in New York City. He lives with his assistant Carmen Ghia.
During the events of The Producers (1968) played by Christopher Hewett
As he is preparing to go to the Choreographer's Ball, Roger is approached by Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom to direct their play "Springtime for Hitler". He agrees to direct the play after telling them that it needs a musical number. He auditions a group of actors to play Hitler, but Max settles on L.S.D. After the play is a success, Roger goes to Max and Leo's office to congratulate them, but is threatened and chased away by Max.
