Dorothy is trapped in the Nome King's throne room and lands next to Scarecrow, who is then transformed into an ornament by the Nome King. He is brought back to normal by Dorothy who correctly picks him and says the word OZ. She then instructs him to find items that are green colored and her and the Scarecrow are able to transform the [[Gump]] and [[Jack Pumpkinhead]]. The Nome King becomes enraged, but is poisoned when [[Billina]], who was hiding in Jack's head, lays an egg that rolls into the Nome King's mouth. Scarecrow and the others are brought back to the Emerald City when Dorothy uses the Ruby Slippers to return the city back to normal and them back to the Emerald City. He then joins the celebration as Dorothy returns to a rejuvenated OZ and Dorothy frees [[Ozma]]. He says bye to Dorothy before she returns to Kansas. | |||

Background
