Dante is a dog belonging to Bill and Maria.
During the events of Santa Claus (1959)
While Santa Claus is walking near Dante's dog house, The Devil Pitch convinces him to chase after Santa Claus. Santa Claus is then forced to run up a tree. Dante is eventually distracted by a toy mechanical cat that Santa tosses to the ground.
