Pepe Lopez and Ricardo Barrera are workmen in Spain.
During the events of The Ninth Gate (1999) played by Jose Lopez Rodero
Dean Corso returns to P y P Restauracion de Libros and finds the place empty except for a few pieces of furniture and 1st & 2nd Workmen. As they are pulling down a bookcase, a piece of paper floats down. Dean picks it up and it turns out to be the original copy of the engraving from Boris Balkan's The Nine Gates of the Kingdom of Shadows.
