During the events of Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988)
Joe Lombard is captured by the Klowns at the beginning of the invasion and stuck in a cotton candy cocoon. Mike Tobacco recognizes him when he and Debbie Stone are exploring the ship for the first time.
